Clean and disinfect your living space

CLEAN YOUR CELL PHONE

Apologies if that tone was a little dramatic, but this is a big one. Many of us spend the day wiping down doorknobs and kitchen faucets while overloading our hands with hand sanitizer only to pick up our grubby, germ-covered phones and put them against our faces to take a call. Don’t neglect your phone from your cleaning rituals! Here is a great guide on the right way to clean your precious handheld device.

(Finally) clean that bong

While this might be one that you’ve been putting off for months, now is a great time to cross this one off your to-do list. If you’ve got a little extra anxiety about where to start or how to tackle this, our friends over at Lift & Co. put together a great guide on some different ways to get the job done.

Make your space work for you

Sometimes it helps to have a mental refresh from all the craziness as well. Take this opportunity to look at your space and contemplate if it’s as effective as it could be. Take this time to try out some weird configurations and see how they work for you (kitchen table in the living room anyone?). While this might not stick for the long haul, this exercise might just spark some creativity and allow you view your space in a whole new way.
We can all use a good declutter every once in a while so take some time to go through your boxes of books and drawers of clothes and make sure they all serve a purpose for you for this upcoming season. If you need some help, Marie Kondo has plenty of videos to teach you about tidiness, being thankful and “sparking joy”.
